Loe Shimmy
Loe Shimmy is undeniably up next. With only a 7k IG following, you probably haven’t heard of him yet... but you will. Loe goes into his music, spitting real-life troubles and experiences in a unique toned, and great-sounding way. “Shim” came into the music game this year, dropping 2 EP’s, Zombie Land and most recently, World War Z. What put me on to Shim was a Hollywood Brown IG live with Lamar post dub in the whip bumping Shim’s most popular track, TNT. I would give that one a listen for sure, Shim goes in. You would commonly expect an underground artist to have weak production, beats, and maybe drifting off the beat. But with Shim, Nah… it’s all there, he delivers high-quality tracks in a monotone sound with pain evident in his music. Some notable bars dropped in 3am Freestyle, Shim goes, “F**k the industry, I won’t sell my soul… this sh** off the head straight from the soul… that’s lil shimmy that lil boy from the No. Clearly, he got some shit to speak on and delivers real bars with a troubled past. The Zombie Land tape is definitely the starting point if you were to get on him before he blows. If you mess with the tape, move onto Zombie Land. 3am Freestyle and TNT could be seen as his best and most real work thus far. We’ll be keeping tabs on this Florida artist who’s got undeniable potential with real lyrics real bars and shit to say. It’s only a matter of time till Loe Shimmy gains attention in the music industry.
